Welcome to BCAW 2015, I plan to live blog the various webinars and events I attend.
Start here with The Testing Times – 1st Edition.

Very slow start running on Australian time. Finally made it to the first webinar –Why owning a pair of trainers does not mean you are fit. Discussing the full lifecycle and the things that are put in place ahead of the verification or testing phase being initiated.
A useful introduction into the area of exercise and testing, especially for the new comer or outsider. This session talks about a lot of the practical aspects around making your testing/exercising regime “fit for purpose” in your environment.
In this context FIT became acronym;
- Frequency
- Improvement (the Continuous variety)
- Time
All suggested as key ingredients of a testing/exercising programme – in order to avoid being Frequently In Trouble! The webinar is recorded so you can check it out later.
Glad to see the week kick off with recognition that testing/exercising requires that things need to be implemented first. Too often people try to test a plan that is not backed by any implemented logistics or investment.
Also been monitoring the Twitter stream for the #TestingTimes hashtag – lets hope that becomes more engaging as the week progresses.
How are you engaging this week? Here are some thoughts I posted on LinkedIn earlier.
I tied to attend the Busing Platform webinar, but for some reason all the sound from Brighttalk has died – so shall bid farewell to BCAW 2015 Day 1.
