BC Awareness Week is almost over, but learning is forever. It is also something that everybody needs to do – we will never know everything we need to know.
We also need to take account of the onging change in our world. These days you need to relearn things every few years.
Here is a perfect example of a very knowledgeable professional continuing to learn from other knowledgable people.
Erica Seville is one of the leading lights of the Resilient Organisations group and lectures in Risk at the University of Canterbury (New Zealand). This is in Christchurch, which was devestated recently by and earthquake.
Despite the extent of her knowledge and experience, she still took the opportunity to ask a question and learn from somebody else.
Check out this Q&A from Peter Sandman’s web site. I have profiled Sandman in an earlier post.
