… making it to 50 posts

I have made it to 50, although not as quickly as I had originaly intended. But researching and writing posts has become a habit.

Many thanks to all those who subscribe, read, retweet and most importantly comment.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to share some stats about the blog and the journey so far;

  • 50 posts in 94 days
  • 854 visits, from 267 visitors
  • Visitors from 27 different countries
    • AUS 42%
    • UK 26%
    • US 11%
    • Norway 6% (thanks Jan – keep clicking!)
    • Canada & South Africa both 4%
  • 1,889 page views
    • 1,329 unique views
    • The vast majority hit the home page to read the latest post, of those that hit specific named pages the Top 5 most popular posts were;
      • CERT and operational resilience
      • bouncing back and breaking
      • the meaning of resilience
      • the story so far
      • how often we mistake the tool for the process and conversation silos – equal 5th
  • 57 comments
    • This includes where I comment also, my aim is to discuss with readers so I tend to respond to each comment posted
    • Most commented posts
      • CERT and operational resilience
      • Resilience Week
      • Brown is the new Green
      • bouncing back and breaking
    • 72+ spam comments (thanks Akismet!)
  • Sources of Traffic
    • Direct 26%
    • Feedburner 40%
    • Google 8%
    • Facebook 6%
    • Husdal.com 4%
    • Agilecontinuity 3%
    • LinkedIn 2%
    • Twitter 2%
    • Stoneroads Blog 1%

Thanks again for reading, hopefully the next 50 will be easier.

Writing for your own consumption is a strange pass time – any kind of comment makes it all worthwhile.

What motivates you to comment on a blog post?
