… my first webcast (pt1)

Eventually!

To make things more manageable, both for me to get a good recording, and for you to make viewing easier, I have split the Presentation into 2 webcasts.

This is using Slideshare, and if you want to go there rather than use the embedded player, there is a link.

As always, appreciate your questions and comments.

Part 2 should be here Thursday.

Great stuff, Ken. It's good to finally have a voice behind the picture. It is indeed much nicer to see AND listen to a presentation than just view it myself. Perhaps I should do the same with the presentations on my site? It's certainly worth considering…

Thanks Jan, it is an interesting experience giving your presentation to an empty room!

I have also discovered that you really need to have audio editing software (which I do not have). Otherwise you need to record it all in one go – with no scope for review.

Unfortunately I spent over an hour doing the second part of the webcast, and the audio was no good at the end – so have to do it all again.

Having said all that, I think it is something I will do more of – it certainly provides another means to convey your ideas and thinking.
