Would be great to catch up with any readers who are heading to Sydney tomorrow and Friday for the Australasian Business Continuity Summit. The summit is a joint venture of the BCI and Continuity Forum and features a number of session that I am looking forward to.
I will presenting a revised version of my DRJ session – Putting ‘management’ into BCM. Revised in terms of it is only a 30 minute slot and an interactive format was requested. It is the first of the afternoon plenary sessions so come along a debate some challenges to think differently about BCM.
I will post a webcast of an even shorter version when I have the time and intellectual energy next week.
Will be aiming to do live blogging from each session, so watch for updates here and on Twitter.
The organisers have done a good job to get “themed streams” and a diverse range of speakers and subjects.
When there are so few high quality BCM event it is a shame that this conference is scheduled the same week as WCDM is running in Toronto. It is a long way to go from this region to attend WCDM – but certainly well worth it.
Many Aussies (and a decent number Kiwis) seem to make the journey each year, so hopefully we can avoid the conflict in future.
See you there!
